Who we are

We are a dance school in Cape Town who teaches Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba, providing classes and socials to the Cape Town community.

We also do events, wedding dances, corporate gigs and corporate team building.

Where we began

Sensagria Dance began as Just Dancing Salsa when Carlos started Salsa classes in Buena Vista restaurant in 2010. These grew to be popular and the dance school was born! Lani joined Carlos in the first year, the two of them built a rapport amongst the students and the happiness spread!

What we do

We bring all South Africans together through the joy of dance. We teach top quality technique in a fun and caring environment. Our belief is that dance is for everyone, it brings joy and happiness to people’s lives.

Our Motivation

We are motivated by seeing people transform into confidant individuals and dancers through gaining body confidence in their movement to music. In learning technique, body movement and the ability to dance with others rhythmically and playfully, this self-security grows.

Classes

We teach On1 Salsa and Cuban Salsa, Bachata Fusion and Kizomba Fusion.  Our classes aim to keep individuals learning to be their best in a friendly, and fun-loving environment.  They take place twice a week to fit in a weekly class in a busy schedule.

Teachers

Our skillful professional teachers, Carlos and Lani, continually learn from the world’s top dancers, always improving their knowledge. They in turn bring you their expertise in carefully thought-out curriculums so that you might be at your best on the dance floor.

Private Lessons

We offer private lessons in which students learn at their individual pace to become skilled dancers, able to have fun and be confident on any social floor.  Our private students soon thrive , growing in leaps and bounds!  These lessons are extremely popular.

Socials

We also offer weekly socials. Students and the dance community come and dance to express their joy in the music and one another’s company. Carlos, Lani, and Wayne, who are talented DJs, play the best music to keep everyone joyous and dancing all night.
